Genesis was developed with funding from the Research Support Libraries Programme (RSLP) and is currently maintained by the staff of The Women’s Library at London Metropolitan University. The project’s website supports research into women’s history and consists of a database with descriptions of women’s history collections from museums, libraries and archives in the United Kingdom and an extensive guide to sources that provides access to a wide range of international web resources on women’s history. The project team works to ensure that as new collections are found the site is updated and new information is added on a regular basis.
